Bio

He started his carrier in Paris, was trained in and has worked in luxury hotels on the French Riviera for couple of years. He then moved to London for 8 years to perfect his knowledge about the bar industry, spirits and cocktails, working in some of the best places back in the time, such as Monte’s Club, The Library Bar at The Lanesborough, Cuckoo Club, Meet Bar & The Hoxton Pony. He started as a Bartender to end General Manager.

He decided to learn more about people and culture and so took a year off and went traveling around Asia and Australia passing by Hong Kong where he decided to stay and open a Bar for a friend called “Le Boudoir”. After a bit more than a year, he decided to open his own Tiki rum bar called “HONI HONI Tiki Cocktail Lounge”, the first Tiki bar in Asia back then 8 years ago, with the biggest rum selection in Asia for years. His place has won many awards like top 50 Asia for many years, top 100 World for few years and many HK & Asian Awards.

During those 8 years he’s also launched the first rum festival in Asia called Hong Kong Rum Festival. He’s done 5 editions so far, all welcomed with great success, where some of the best rum celebrities and connoisseurs from around the world came to do masterclasses, guest bartending, present their rums and enjoy the Hong Kong Bar scene and culture.
